Jack’s Seafood Restaurant and Soul food Raleigh (Rock Quarry Road)

Jack’s Seafood Raleigh, a charming southern traditional cafe takeout restaurant, is a haven for those seeking the authentic taste of the South. From the crispy fried chicken gizzards to the flavorful seafood, pork chops, and even chitterlings, every dish here is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of the region. If you’re craving a taste of home, Jack’s Seafood of Raleigh is your go-to place for a truly southern experience. 

The food was consistent the five times I visited, and the portion sizes were more than enough to satisfy. The staff is friendly and inviting, and it’s a quick stop for takeout that offers a nice selection of Sunday prepared-style foods. I personally recommend the Fried Chicken Gizzards.

Negative: None! Not really a place to dine in. The atmosphere is that of a typical take-out fast food kitchen. 

Overall, I give this Southern gem a full 5 stars
